Blair D’Amico is excited to start her second season with Ballet Embody. In addition to performing Ballet Embody, she continues to develop her skills as a dance educator and choreographer. She recently was awarded her Enrico Checchetti Final Diploma for dance performance and has her Cecchetti USA Associates for teaching ballet. She co-founded the Conservatory Program at Turning Pointe Dance Academy, where she collaborates on the choreography for their annual spring ballet performance.

Blair started dancing at age 3, and including ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz and tap. At age 10, she discovered her affinity for the Cecchetti method, training with Elaine Seidman to pass the Advanced syllabus exam. Blair continued her training at KS Dance Ltd., a professional vocational school in Greater Manchester, England, directed by Kate Simmons. She graduated with a Trinity College National Diploma in Professional Dance in 2010, including dance and teaching qualifications in the Cecchetti Ballet method and Spanish dance. During her time there Blair honed her technique and developed as an artist. She performed with the school’s company, eventually being promoted  to principal dancer.

Blair returned to the United States to begin her first professional season with Baltimore Ballet in 2010 where her roles included Dew Drop in The Nutcracker, Myrta in Giselle, and the Gamzatti Variation. From 2011 - 2015, she danced in Philadelphia for BalletFleming, where her roles included The Evil Queen in Christopher Fleming’s Snow White, Too Big and Too Bold in Jenn Rose’s The Missing Piece, and Second Couple in Adrianna de Svatich’s Dyadic Dances. From 2016 - 2018 she was a part of the Polaris Dance Company in Portland, Oregon. There Blair gained experience with modern based choreography, such as Robert Guitron’s choreography to Keb”mo’s Every Morning, and studied the Horton technique. Additionally, Blair has appeared as a guest artist in roles such as Arabian, Spanish, Dew Drop and Snow Queen in Nutcracker productions, Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and the Dance Teacher in Cinderella. After a 6-year hiatus from performing, Blair returned to the stage in 2024 with Nkosinathi Mncube where they debuted  “Look at Me, Don’t Blame Me, I am Not the Problem” in Soweto, South Africa. In 2025, Blair joined Ballet Embody where she performed as The Raven’s Tormentee, Snow and Beach Waltz in A Maryland Nutcracker, Strings and Friends in Coppelia, all choreographed by Emily Runkle.
