✨ About the Audition

Ballet Embody invites dancers ages 8 and up to audition for our Fall 2025 production of The Maryland Nutcracker, coming to the stage on December 13 + 14 at the Carroll Community College Theater.

This is a combined audition for two exciting performance opportunities:

• 🎭 Performance Ensemble – A flexible, project-based track for dancers who want to participate in The Maryland Nutcracker only.

• 🌟 Student Company – A season-long commitment that includes The Maryland Nutcracker, our spring narrative ballet, and additional performance opportunities throughout the year.

🕰 Audition Schedule

• 12:00–12:45 PM | Dancers ages 8–12

• 12:45–1:30 PM | Dancers ages 13+

• 1:30–2:30 PM | Student Company consideration (all ages)

❗Important: Dancers wishing to be considered for the Student Company must attend BOTH the audition time for their age group and the 1:30–2:30 PM callback session.

✅ What to Bring

• Ballet attire

• Pointe shoes (if applicable)

• Water bottle + snack for in between sessions

• Enthusiasm and love of performance!
