Ballet Embody’s Dance Mosaic is an artist-driven celebration of movement, music, and collaboration!

Each year, Dance Mosaic brings together professional artists, guest choreographers, and guest artists to create an unforgettable and audience-engaging performance experience.

Ballet Embody invites you to experience Dance Mosaic: A Showcase of Local Dance, an evening that celebrates artistry, collaboration, and the vibrant dance community of Maryland.

Now in its third iteration, this program embodies Ballet Embody’s mission to:

EMBODY a collaborative experience,

CULTIVATE a space that elevates dancers and their craft, and

INSPIRE audiences to further explore and experience the artform.

This intimate performance highlights guest dance artists, a local dance artists, and more.

​

This season’s program features breathtaking works, including Ballet Embody's:

• Strings – A re-envisioned return of a Ballet Embody classic

• Ravel – An original work by Professional Company artist Lacee Buckholz

• ECHO – An exploration and reflection of the cyclical nature of life and experience

Alongside Ballet Embody’s works, Dance Mosaic highlights stunning performances by our guest artists:

• Garrison Forest Dance Program

• BCV Dance Center

• University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) Dance Department

• Peabody Conservatory Dancers

• Ryan Bailey

Following each performance, audiences are invited to stay for a moderated talk-back with the artists — an opportunity to ask questions, hear about the creative process, and connect more deeply with the works presented.​
