Get a first-hand glimpse at what happens in a professional company rehearsal! The public is invited to join Ballet Embody in the studio for an open rehearsal. This is an informal open rehearsal and you are welcome to drop-in to watch rehearsal at anytime during the 12noon-3:00pm timeframe.

An open dance rehearsal is an opportunity for members of the public to observe and experience the inner workings of a professional dance company. It provides a unique and intimate view of the artistic process, allowing you, our audiences, to witness the development and refinement of a dance piece.

During this open rehearsal, you're invited to join Ballet Embody in their home studio space, Synergy Space, where the Company regularly rehearses. Our directors will offer feedback and adjustments needed for clarity in the movement + narrative. This is an informal open rehearsal and, each hour, the rehearsal will pause to allow space for audience questions about the material being rehearsed.

The creative process in action is rarely seen by audiences, and you'll see how Company dancers work together to bring to life Emily's vision. You'll also gain insight into the technical aspects of ballet, like technique particulars or the importance of timing and rhythm. We all LOVE being in the studio together and you'll have the unique opportunity to experience the energy that we thrive on during our rehearsals.

You'll leave the studio with an extra bounce to your step and maybe even a little dance of your own!
