✨ About the Audition

Join Ballet Embody’s Performance Ensemble for our 2025 production of The Maryland Nutcracker, performing December 13 & 14 at Carroll Community College Theater.

This audition is for dancers ages 8+ who are interested in performing in The Maryland Nutcracker only. Ensemble dancers rehearse weekly in the fall and help bring Ballet Embody’s narrative productions to life onstage.

We are also welcoming adult community participants to audition for the Act I Party Scene. No dance experience required—just stage presence, enthusiasm, and a love of holiday tradition! Party Scene participants will portray guests at the Christmas Eve celebration and help set the magical tone of the production.

🕰 Audition Schedule

• 4:00pm-4:30pm – Adults interested in Party Scene roles [Studio C]

• 4:00–4:45 PM – Dancers ages 8–12 [Studio B]

• 4:45–5:30 PM – Dancers ages 13+ [Studio B]

All dancers must complete the registration form. Audition fee is $15 per participant. Fee may be waived upon request for adult Party Scene participants.
