
Lacee Buckholz

Lacee Buckholz is a dancer and choreographer from Jackson, NJ. She began her early dance education at age 3 from Jackson Dance Center, continuing to study here until her high school graduation in 2023. In 2015 she attended Ocean County Vocational Technical Schools’ Performing Arts Academy where she received training in ballet, jazz, Graham, Horton, Swing, Africa and Afro Caribbean. Graduating in 2019 she took her diploma to Towson University receiving her BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography in 2023. She trained in Ballet, Horton, Taylor and Laban. She also received instruction in Functional Movement from published author Nancy Wanich-Romita and somatic cuing technique from Nicole Martinelle. She performed in over 30 choreographed works from her peers, professors and guest artists. Notably Runquio Du, Susan Mann, Alison Seidenstricker, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar, and Rob Kleinendost. While at Towson, from 2021-2023 they also danced with Deep Vision Dance Company directed by Nicole Martinelle performing In Faith, at Baltimore Theatre Project. Lacee will be entering her 3rd year as a company member and choreographer at Ballet Embody, excited to see you from the stage!
