A native to Maryland, Markel A. Williams began his artistic journey in Musical Theatre. It was from there that he found his passion for dance. He would go on to receive his B.F.A. in Dance: Performance and Choreography from Towson University in 2022. He would begin his career dancing with Ballet Embody in 2021. Markel would then go on to dance with Dallas Black Dance Theatre: Encore! In 2022 while simultaneously dancing as a guest artist with Ballet Papillon in 2023. He has appeared in numerous productions and ballets in the DFW metroplex. He is excited to be making his return with Ballet Embody.
