Audition for the Supporting Cast
The Ballet Embody Supporting Cast is a group of community members with a love of ballet, a history of dance training, and a love of performing. Supporting Cast dancers are included in full-length and original Ballet Embody productions. They rehearse and perform alongside both the Professional and Student Companies to bring ballet narratives to life.
Ballet Embody seeks dancers of all levels to audition for supporting cast roles in their upcoming production. Supporting cast members have the chance to perform alongside Ballet Embody’s professional and student companies.
Eligibility:

2+ years of dance training preferred for dancers ages 8-15.

4+ years of dance training preferred for dancers ages 16+. Pointe shoes permitted if applicable.

Interested dancers must want to be a part of this performance and love being on stage!

Dancers from all studios are welcome to audition.
Expectations of accepted Supporting Cast Dancers:

Complete and return a signed contract and share rehearsal availability prior to the start of the season.

Performance fee ages 8-18: $195 + $85 Costume Fee. Scholarships are available.

Performance fee ages 18+ is waived + $85 Costume Fee.

Adequately warm self up prior to rehearsal start times.

Attend weekly rehearsals on Sundays and occasional Saturdays at Synergy Space in Westminster, MD with minimal absence. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled as performances draw near.
